Jordy grew up in the idyllic surf capital of Encinitas, California surrounded by art and theater, but she always felt the pull of New York City and moved east at 18. She has a BA in Art History and English Literature from Columbia University, and an MFA in Acting from The American Repertory Theater Institute at Harvard. Working as an actor brought her to stages across the globe, and sparked an obsession for discovering unique art, theater, and vegetarian food the world over (she also maintains a Google Map of the most charming pubs in the British Isles and Ireland.) She has lived in Paris, Berlin, Moscow, Alaska, and Cambridge and visited five continents, but loves to bring her dogeared passport home to her brownstone apartment on the Upper West Side.

Larkin and her family spent time on the Eastern shore sailing along Chesapeake Bay exploring towns along the water. Post graduation, she indulged in another passion - as a florist and event planner - while the world recuperated from Covid. After a year of staying still, she moved to Italy to exercise her Italian and dive into small town Italian culture. Raised between London, Tokyo, and half a dozen US cities, Kelly didn’t just develop the travel bug, she was born with it. Taking her first solo flight at the ripe old age of nine, Kelly’s always had a flare for independence, and hasn’t stopped booking flights since. She holds a Master’s degree in sports nutrition from Florida State University, but couldn’t stay away from the travel industry, where she worked as a Trip Designer at a high-end membership-based travel agency in New York before joining the Local Foreigner team as an Independent Contractor. A native New Yorker, Camilla found her way to the travel industry by way of gemstones and jewelry. During her 14 year tenure as the Vice President of Merchandising for Tiffany & Co., Camilla traveled throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas. After her children were born, Camilla focused her travel-energies on introducing them to the world beyond New York City. In 2011, she moved the kids to Paris, where the family spent two years navigating French culture. They made the most of their shift in geography by traveling extensively throughout Europe. When Camilla returned to New York (however reluctantly), her friends were quick to seek her advice on all things travel. As a veteran travel writer / author in addition to being a consultant, Meg has spent the last fifteen years traversing the globe, visiting some of the most highly sought-after locations and properties either on assignment or a quest for the next best haunt for clients. She caught not only the travel bug, but also the desire to document and share her findings rather young, keeping copious travel journals and collecting hotel matchbooks (remember those!) since she was thirteen. With a degree in Foreign Languages and Linguistics from Georgetown University as well as three separate stints living abroad (Milan, Amsterdam, Buenos Aires) and the recent goal of acquiring her Masters in Wine, Meg embraces a new landscape and challenge, especially when they look, sound and taste good. Meg's favorite part of trip designing for clients is the a-ha moment when it's clear she's found just the right spot for them.

Nancy is a native of Manhattan who caught the travel bug early as the daughter of a pioneering career woman who didn’t want to leave her only child behind when she went on vacation. After graduating from Mount Holyoke College with a degree in Art History, Nancy pursued a career in publishing. She began in the fiction department of The New Yorker, extended her territory by editing destination focused lifestyle books at Clarkson Potter (French Style, Caribbean Style, American Country), then turned her attention to interiors and landscapes as the Editor in Chief of House & Garden. But it was her next position, as the Editor in Chief of Travel + Leisure for over 21 years, that she really got to see the world – from Australia and New Zealand, to the Maldives, East Africa, Brazil, and China, with countless stops along the way. An Independent Contractor, Nancy is the founder of Culturati Travel Design, where she taps into her interests in arts and culture, as well as food and style (a.k.a. shopping) to create very special trips for private clients and small groups. When not pursuing her passion for travel, Nancy divides her time between an apartment overlooking the East River in Manhattan and a house on a hill in northwestern Connecticut.

Emily has always had an insatiable curiosity; for history, culture, art, and cuisine. And, as the daughter of a travel agent, the appreciation for a well-crafted itinerary is in her blood. In college, Emily double majored in Art History and Communication at Wake Forest University and lived in Madrid, Spain for a semester. She started her travel career in New York City with a high-end membership-based travel company, where she worked her way from travel operations and logistics to trip design and travel sales. No matter where she is in the world, Emily is working her way through multiple books, podcasts, travel publications, and has a constant finger on the pulse of the travel industry. She is happiest on or near the water and recently relocated to her hometown of Tampa, Florida.

From a young age, it was instilled in Jenny to spend money on experiences rather than things, and growing up, her family spent their time traveling together. During her junior year of college, she went on a Kenyan safari and right after, studied abroad in Buenos Aires. It was then she knew she wanted to pursue a career in hospitality. After college, she spent a year teaching English in Madrid and exploring Europe. Once home, she spent five years working in sales at The Ritz-Carlton, learning the “hotel side” of the business. In 2017, the opportunity to move to NYC and work for a boutique travel agency came about. There, she found her passion helping people build their dream trips, and has been doing just that ever since.

Traveling has been an innate part of Cally’s life since childhood. Growing up in Atlanta, she would often travel overseas to visit relatives in England and took many international vacations with her family. She carried her love of travel to college, where she studied abroad in four different locations — Copenhagen, Florence, Saigon, and Jakarta. Since graduating from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, she has served as a go-to travel resource for friends, family and clients alike. Cally has worked in the luxury travel industry since 2013 in both New York and Chicago, and now joins the Local Foreigner team from her home in Atlanta. The most rewarding part of her job is being able to create meaningful, memorable, and immersive travel experiences for her clients and their families.

Growing up the youngest of four girls on Long Island, Maggie was always striving for independence. She spent many summers seeking an escape and loved the rush of excitement, strength, and freedom her travels gave her. She attended Kent School in Connecticut and lived in Sydney during her studies at Boston College. Maggie was raised to help others whenever possible and to believe that school never lets out. She taught elementary school and worked in the non-profit world in New York City. Maggie spent the last eight years styling clients for a luxury lifestyle brand based in Atlanta, where she is closer to family. She cultivated a large client base, teaching them to be confident in their choices and simultaneously dispensing travel advice. She is very excited to be launching her career as a travel consultant which allows her to marry her true passions and skills. She will help inspire clients to book that trip on their bucket list with confidence.

Born and raised on Long Island, Michelle first landed in New York on a music scholarship to NYU followed by a brief stint in PR and a 13-year run at a major financial firm. She finally found her way to the luxury travel industry in 2016, being an avid traveler who had always dished out travel advice to friends and family. Michelle joins the Local Foreigner team after spending 5 years at a boutique luxury travel consultancy in New York. She currently lives in downtown Manhattan with her husband and three little kids, who accompany her on most of her adventures.

Lily studied at the University of New Hampshire, and had the incredible opportunity to study abroad on Semester at Sea, a floating campus that circumnavigates the globe, while visiting 13 countries. This semester was very influential and ultimately what inspired her to start her business.

After graduation, she began over a decade long career in Tech Sales. Working at EMC, IBM and most recently 8+ years at VMware. During this time, she started Passport Stamps. She worked two jobs for 6 years until she had built the business to where she felt comfortable going full time. She’s planned hundreds of trips at this point, and no two trips have been the same.

In the last two years, she and her family left Brooklyn, and she now lives in Westport, CT with her husband, Mark and their two amazing girls, aged 4 and 2. When she’s not working, she’s spending all of her time with them.

Missy majored in Arts Management in one of her favorite cities in the country, Charleston, South Carolina at The College of Charleston. She has always been an aesthete at heart who loves to find beauty anywhere she can — whether it be in art, interior design, architecture, nature, cuisine, or in various cultures around the world. After briefly working in the fashion industry, she started her career in travel at a high-end membership-based travel company where she worked as a Luxury Travel Specialist for six years, curating itineraries and building client relationships. She loves to spend her free time painting, horseback riding, and is discovering a new love for fly fishing. Aside from Nantucket - one of her favorite places in the world - two trips she could never get sick of are African safari and the Amalfi coast. An avid reader, her happy place is a beach with a good book and a great sandwich. She is based in Brooklyn, New York, with her husband and English Cocker Spaniel, Pepper.
