Aman begins a new venture with the first outpost of their Janu brand, located in Tokyo’s Azabudai Hills development. Janu means “soul” in Sanskrit, and the brand will prioritize local trends and engagement. Where as Amanjunkies seek total serenity, Janu-junkies will be after total immersion.

Romazzino, A Belmond Hotel
Costa Smeralda, Sardinia
Opening May 2024

The Marriott brand has had a chokehold on the Sardinia hotel scene for years - that all changes this summer when Belmond takes over Romazzino. This grand dame of the Med is as classic as it gets, with white walls, red roofs, and lush landscaping. If you aren’t arriving to the Costa Smerelda by yacht, Romazzino is the next best thing.


Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor
Mallorca, Spain
Opening Summer 2024

Four Seasons’ arrival on the Formentor Peninsula means the Balleric Islands - often associated with a boho party scene - are officially family-friendly. The original property was opened in 1929 and has undergone years of renovation; a property beach and a neighboring vineyard means there’s no need to brave the island’s winding roads.

Amid the skyscrapers of central Bangkok, Thailand’s first urban Aman hotel will rise from the greenery of Nai Lert Park. Aman loyalists can now stay in-brand for a complete Thailand trip by pairing Nai Lert with the legendary flagship Amanpuri. Bangkok has a deck of great hotels, but Aman’s entry into the scene feels like a perfect fit.


Cheval Blanc Seychelles

Opening Autumn 2024

There’s no website yet, but the sixth Cheval Blanc Maison joins Paris, Courchevel, St Tropez, St Barths, and The Maldives when it washes up on the southwest coast of Mahé in Q3. Rising out of the Indian Ocean, spa will be a major draw, and local art and artists will be featured. The post-safari beach stop will never be the same.

Situated in the heart of Palm Beach, the Vineta is located just two blocks off Worth Avenue – famed for its designer boutiques, restaurant scene, and galleries. Oetker is restoring and reimagining the iconic pale-pink Vineta Hotel (most recently known as the Chesterfield), with the aim to bring the hotel back to its original splendor.

The Maybourne Group opens its fourth London hotel, with the sleek and modern Emory opening next to classic older sibling the Berkeley. All accommodations are suites, and all the glass means big-time views.

One&Only Kéa Island

Located on the Cycladic island closest to the mainland, the boat ride to Kéa is only 30 minutes from Athens. 63 cliff villas offer space, privacy, and panoramic views over the Aegean, and hiking is a draw (along with the beach.)

A contemporary hotel set on Mayfair’s oldest greenspace, Hanover Square. Built as the more discreet sibling to Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park. Claridge’s is a neighbor, as are the tailors of Savile Row.
